LDS Church launches new tech site, holds “tech talks”

The Church has recently launched a web site to coordinate its efforts with the tech community. Tom Welch was hired to be the manager of this tech community, which can offer feedback and suggestions on Church technology initiatives. There is also a live forum on the site, the first ever forum on a Church website.
Church technology employees also held “tech talks” in Salt Lake City and Provo recently to explain how the Church uses technology and to meet members in the tech community.
