Why Question Mormon Leadership?

The Dallas Morning News printed a few letters to the editor raising concerns about the many recent news stories about Mitt Romney’s mormonism and its potential impact on his run for the presidential office.
The letters note the imbalance in the media when focusing on Romney’s religion (or Senator Reid, for that matter) when members of other faiths have not received similar scrutiny.
The media hype and alleged concern that many have for a politician’s mormon faith shows nothing more than the ignorance most people have regarding LDS doctrine and the historical evidence which suggests that Romney wouldn’t be influenced at all by the brethren in Salt Lake City.
